NATASHA MITTAL SARAF
FOUNDER AND STRATEGY ADVISOR
Our journey from a simple paper-recycling and upcycling workshop has brought us a long way, to include found materials across different categories – glass, wood, metal. As the availability of raw materials (waste materials) change, our product range adapts and is resilient, and I have our talented team to thank for that.
Our products are now used by our institutional clients that include shops, offices, and hotels, made-to-order products, and also what we love to do the most – interact with our customers at local fairs and exhibitions.
Working with our moware team has always been a rewarding experience – their talent and dedication to the over-arching cause of waste management – reuse reduce recycle – is commendable and inspiring.
We hope to grow sustainably and mindfully and look forward to achieving our milestones, with our core values as our guiding light.

EVA VILLARDON GRANDE

Eva is a lawyer by education, traveller by heart and strong advocate for sustainable development. As her international experience made her realize the hidden potential in developing countries, she came to Nepal to fulfill her strong desire to work in projects related to waste management and improving life in the local communities. She recently found her new passion for design and quickly learned elements of graphic design and brand building. Eva has been focusing her energies to manage and implement communication strategies that allow her to integrate elements of sustainability in communities and businesses.

UJEN WANGMO
CREATIVE & DEVELOPMENT HEAD
Ujen is the person behind product designing and team management in moware design. She saw the potential in enhancing our production department and started visiting places, surveying potential customers, and experimenting with crafting utility from discarded paper and glass bottles. Her creations were highly appreciated by our first customers, and when more hands were required, she hired and trained marginalized women that are today part of our team.
Ujen has recently left our team to start her own enterprise, but her enthusiasm, optimism, and dedication were decisive to start moware design. She was a great mentor to our production team, who are very thankful for having worked and learnt from her.

SANGITA MAYA WAIBA
PRODUCTION TRAINEE
Sangita is a veteran of the production team and is always there to lend a hand to her co-workers. When she joined our team, she was amazed by the work as did not have any idea that so many products could be created out of paper. She never thought that she could ever design the paper in the way she does now and is very proud of her learning and progress after 2 years. Sangita is thankful to her mentor Ujen for helping her to learn the artwork at moware design.
Before moware design, she used to work as a housekeeper in Iraq. She is from Kavrepalanchowk and is currently living in Attarkhel with her 3 years old daughter.

MIRA KUMAR MAGAR
DESIGNATION
Mira found out about Moware thanks to her neighbor and co-worker Sangita, and joined our team motivated to acquire new skills in a new field. With no previous experience in handwork, Moware let her experience a whole new world of art. She loves working with Sangita and Elina as they are very friendly and cooperative, which adds fun to her work. Mira also enjoys challenging herself by learning and completing new difficult designs.
Mira is from Sinduly and but lives in Attarkhel with her husband and two children.

ELINA TAMANG
PRODUCTION TRAINEE
Elina is the latest incorporation in our production team but has been able to learn quickly thanks to the help and support of her coworkers. At present, she has the confidence to carry out the designs of Moware individually.
Currently, she combines her work at Moware with her studies of Bachelor in Business Studies (BBS) at Grahmin Adarsha.
Elina is from Dhading and lives in Mainmaju with her younger sister.
